Sander Records has an extensive catalog made up of physical and digital products with very different characteristics.

While a digital track needs to show its tracklist and let customers sample the content before buying, a physical record calls for information on format, condition, edition, year, weight, dimensions and stock availability.

The site also had to serve international buyers, offering multiple languages, currency conversion and a structure ready to calculate and manage the shipping of physical products.

The solution

We built a complete e-commerce store, structured around discovering and buying Black Music products.

The home page presents items in different contexts, such as featured picks, formats and new arrivals. That organization promotes what's new without stopping visitors from exploring the full catalog.

Within those groups, customers find specific categories for vinyl, CDs, digital music, needles, controllers, mixers, turntables and other products.

A high-volume catalog

The store was prepared to handle an extensive catalog without depending on pages built by hand for each set of products.

The categories and attributes registered in the admin panel automatically feed the showcases, listings, filters and individual pages.

That model lets the catalog grow while keeping the same navigation and presentation structure.

Search and filters

In a specialist catalog, customers are often after a particular artist, album, edition or format.

To cut the time it takes to find each item, we implemented dynamic product search. Results can appear as the visitor types, with no new page load for every query.

Stock and availability

The system controls product availability and automatically separates items that can be bought from those that are sold out.

That matters especially for rare records, limited editions and used products, where there is usually only a small quantity available.

Visual tags communicate states like new release, limited edition and sold out right on the store's showcases.

An international experience

Sander Records ships to a number of countries, so the experience couldn't be limited to the Brazilian audience.

The site offers interface translation into ten languages. Price conversion was also implemented for nine currencies.

Visitors can choose their currency and see converted prices as they browse the catalog.

Cart and checkout

The store has a cart, customer identification and checkout integrated with the catalog.

The structure supports physical and digital products within the same operation. For physical products, weight, dimensions and address feed the delivery calculation.

Integrations with Stripe and PayPal Brasil handle payments, and Melhor Envio handles shipping quotes.

Technical development

The project was developed with WordPress and WooCommerce, on a structure that lets the catalog, orders, customers and stock be managed from the admin panel.

The interface was built with Elementor on top of the Hello Elementor theme, allowing custom pages without giving up WooCommerce's commercial structure.

SEO

The SEO structure was applied to the institutional pages, categories and products.

The site has titles, descriptions, sharing metadata and structured data. These elements help search engines understand the relationship between the brand, the pages, the products and their categories.

Individual pages also have their own URLs for artists, albums and products, expanding the amount of content that specific searches can surface.

Performance and infrastructure

The site uses several layers to improve how pages and images are delivered.

The infrastructure includes Cloudflare and LiteSpeed, plus server-side caching. Images are processed into modern formats, reducing the weight loaded on each visit.

The interface was also adapted for phones, tablets and desktops, covering navigation, showcases, filters, the product page, the cart and checkout.
